Mindfulness/Meditation Guidance Session
Are you looking to establish practical and accessible foundations of groundedness and presence in your life? Do you seek to foster greater awareness of your inner world? Are you called to explore the depths of spiritual practice?
Whether using in-the-moment mindfulness tools to stay grounded in hard situations, sitting for 15 minutes a day to foster well-being or taking a dive into the depths of meditative practice having a “friend along the path” to offer appropriate guidance and a “good listening ear” is a great support. For complete beginners as well as seasoned practitioners - Joe draws from over a decade of dedicated training in the Insight tradition, his Monastic experience in American Zen and his own exploration of blending Contemporary Animism with Contemplative Practice to meet you where you are at and grow from there.

Recognize, explore and inquire into “what” arises in meditation - including places of resistance, allurement and curiosity
Receive mirroring, support and guidance that comes from first being deeply listened to, rather than a dictation of fixed dogma
Be exposed to a range of practices, traditions, teachings and available resources to continue your exploration on your own

Spirit and Soul Centered Mentorship

For many, if not most, and maybe even all, the journey of spirit and soul is not meant to be made alone. We need guides, allies, points of orientation, teachings, traditions and containers to hold us on our way. Joe draws from his 15 year contemplative training in the Insight tradition, his 5 year apprenticeship to the work of Soul-Guiding with Animas Valley Institute, his work on the ground in Wilderness Therapy and social service and his ongoing explorations of the intersections of Soul, Psyche, Spirit and Nature to attuned guidance wherever you are on your path.

Be exposed to and have the opportunity to learn a range of practices, ways and resources to support your psycho-spiritual soul-centric unfoldment.
Note: because having a consistent mentoring relationship is so much more impactful, multiple session bundles are significantly discounted.

1-to-1 Practice Interview, 20 minutes Offered on Dana
Specifically for folks working with me in a Dharma context. Short practice interview (including daily life practice), in the same spirit of teaching meetings on retreat. Offered without a fixed price in the practice of Dana (generosity). I freely offer this support to you and you in turn offer financially to support my livelihood as is right for you - offering less if you have less, more if you have more and none if you have none. Any amount is enough and will be received with gratitude.

Not Sure What’s Right For You?
Although I endeavor to make these offerings accessible though affordable, sliding scale pricing the reality is that there are still those who cannot afford these rates. I am deeply committed to making these resources available to everyone regardless of financial means. If you are from a traditionally marginalized community, experiencing economic oppression, or simply do not have abundant financial resources at the moment, please reach out. We will have a conversation and find a way for you to still receive the support you need.
For those who do have sufficient or abundant resources please offer at the middle or upper range of the sliding scale rate. They are priced in this way so that those with less can offer less, not so those with more can get a “cheap deal.”
